I have two pneumatic potato guns that run off high pressure.

alright even with the spark and hairspray and endcap and potato im gettin nothing, so im guessing the chamber is too small. i leave about 7 inches between the tato and the end cap, and a 1.5 inch chamber/barrel. so the area is 7*(.75^2*3.14) which is 12.36 inches^2 of a chamber, im guessing thats not enuff for anything to ignite. so im gunna go with a 4 inch chamber and either a 2 inch or 2.5(tennis balls) inch barrel, any idea how long the 4inch chamber should be??

haaha they are dangerous i accidentally shot one in my basement at the wall but nothin is more fun than a potatoe gun than a golf ball cannon

The electric spark might not be enough to ignite the hair spray, try another propellant...hair spray can be a little stubborn.

WD-30 works ... but leaves a weird film / smell... smells likve victory, i love the smell of napalm in the morning.

Hey man, that was the problem with my first cannon.

You need a wire or nail, etc. with a nice gap to get a strong spark.

Good times, espically shooting em' off my balcony..
