Wood's contract is up at the end of next season but the Raiders are dangling him, trying to get another 1st round pick (as if two isn't enough )

Smoot got a lot better this years, especially at the end (the Rams game particularly sticks out. That pass deflection in the second half was huge). He's a little over aggressive but lets be honest-he's got absolutely no help from those worthless safties. I'm glad Shade is cut. He and Terrell are just to damn slow. Their liablities. I wanted the Skins to grab Tebucky Jones but he got the franchise tag so that was the end of that. I'd like the Skins to pick up one of the real athletic FS in the draft this year but they got other needs.

Instead of a Redskins thread would it be to early to start a Draft thread? It is only two months away after all...

        Thought I'd bring this up

Never shy about trying to set a frenetic pace, Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder hit the ground running on Friday, the first day of the free agent signing period.

At least Snyder is spending money in the right place.

Spurrier better get on ship and find some proven NFL talent on offense. He keeps getting people that haven't proven anything. If Spurrier doesn't give the starting job to Ramsey, and he gives it to the likes of Danny Wuerffel, you guys are screwed. Even then, I still don't see you guys doing better than .500 unless you get some proven offensive talent, because a 2nd year starting QB without a running game and OK recievers ain't going to get you much.

Looks like their new running back is Trung Candidate of the Rams. He's pretty good. Too bad Steve Spurrier can't make it as an NFL coach.
