    don't worry, seriously.

After seeing this pic 2 years ago, I still had used my steelie all this time.

I do plan on selling it though..... cause it's so heavy.

If ALL the tanks were defective, they woulda did a massive recall, that guy just happened to run into some bad luck.

There is a thread...an old old one, that linked to a page that showed an accident at a dive shop in florida. A guy was filling an 80cf scuba tank and it blew. It was aluminum and the thing was just shredded.

I'll have to see if I can find the thread.

I believe that on the site they noted the fact that there is enough energy in an 3000psi 80cf scuba tank to lift a fire truck 60 ft into the air. That's some serious energy!

the safe enviroment they are talking about im sure is like
the one we fill are firefighting tanks in

there are 3 steel tubes the bottles(if your filling 3 bottles at once) slide into, it is only exposed on the top where they slide in. after u put them in they stand vertical and then you close a diamond plate door.

so if they blow they are contained to the steel tubes.

Well, when I'm filling my tank I never have it towards me. Always have the back faceing in a safe direction. Just to be safe.

so if were working with ci, then the firetruck should only go 1/12 of that distance
