The cold stuff I'm pretty sure is nitrous oxide(it's not co2 or dry ice). They use it on a plantar's warts to freeze them in order to get rid of them. They used it on a plantars wart I had on my head (believe it or not, it was on my head in my hair). It would keep coming back, so finally they gave me a shot in my head to numb it, then they just used this little electric pick thing and scraped it off. Didn't feel a thing.
