Kompressor isn't a type of car. I'm gessing you mean an SL-500 or other SL series roadster type POS mercedes. That's a joke. Calling a mercedes a POS is silly.
Living in Redding, i'm surrounded by wealthy people. Honestly, its insane. The realestate around here is mind boggling.
One of my good friends, his dad has a ZO6 vette, a 76 350 vette, has a Ford GT on order, along with a viper, he owns two Exterras, one is supercharged and the other is not.
The non blower exterra is my friends. His dad is buying him a 79 camaro or a 65 1/2 mustang.
He had $400 in his wallet yesterday cuz his dad wanted him to buy a pair of sunglasses. He spent $100 on the sunglasses. He gets a new phone once a month.
When he tells me this stuff, i don't say "WOW your life will be worthless without your father! You need to bust your *** as a teenager to learn how to live in the REAL WORLD! BECAUSE RICH SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE WITH RICH FOUNDATIONS DO NOT EXIST! ITS A MYTH!!!!!!!!!!" I say things like "holy crap that's awesome gimme some money" and to which he replies "no."
Honestly, being rich rocks, don't kid yourself. Working hard for your money is very self dignifying.
My dad is a carpenter. He works DAMN hard for his money. Often he'll work 7 days a week, 16 hours a day.
You know what? My dad's got a 26 foot Formula boat. He's got a real nice 2003 F-350, and a 2000 expy. He's not poor by any means. Guy knows how to have fun.
My mother lives in redding. I'm not going into the story of my mother. If i chose to live at her house, i would could take the bus to school and wouldn't have to insure the truck or fill it with gas. Granted i would have no job and no money to buy lunch, and there aint crap to bring from the house. Now i chose to live at my dad's and work my *** off to be able to. My dad does not give me lunch money because i do not ask. If i asked, he would. The reason i don't ask isn't because i have too much pride, or because i can easily pay for it myself, god knows i can't. I don't ask because with all the things my father has done for me i owe him an eternal debt.
Basically what i'm trying to say is that money is the devil, and if we could all go back to trading raisins for shiny rocks i would be much better off.
