There was too much water for him to freeze himself. Besides, even if his powers were fully deveopled, i doubt he would still be able to freeze over THAT much water.

The Pheonix Saga from the Cartoon show is the cooler of the two, IMO.

OMG, the Pheonix Saga in the cartoons was so confusing. It seemed like it had two different endings or something. In one, Jean Gray is released from the Pheonix and she's back. Then out of no-where, they come up with an episode where she (The Pheonix) is in the X-mansion being analyized and whatnot by the Professor and she breaks loose and becomes the Dark Pheonix. I also remember another episode where she's The Pheonix forever... it's all complicated.

I thought the saga with the Morlocs and Deathstrike and the alien ship was real cool. Too bad it was so short. Whatever happened to the TV series? I'd kill to see them again. I think the last episode was where the phalanx race was taking over Earth and I think it was Beast, Forge, that good phalanx guy, and Mr. Sinister team up to save the planet. I'd say it was probably around 6 years ago where they stopped showing the series. Good times.

I think the world of X-Men is too vast to be completely captured into a couple movies. There are just so many different complications ie Apocalypse, cable, bishop and the time traveling buisness; Pheonix saga; Magneto trying to start a war; all the individual X-Men's stories and origin; and not to mention, the relationship between X-Men and all other Marvel characters.

Just saw it today here in Berlin, the SonyCenter has a theatre that features all the new release movies.. in English!

I was there for the 2:30 show... there were 3 of us in the whole place, it was kinda cool not having anyone making noise... anyway...

Loved the fight scenes with Nightcrawler and Wolverine. Nightcrawler's abilities have never been truly expressed before, and IMO the smoke effects were PERFECT!

Colossus was cool, I like how they set up Pyro... the Mystique stuff was a nice change of pace, and the Blackbird scenes were great.

I also liked Cyclops' cut down visor...

When is X3 scheduled for release!?!?!?!?!?!!?

X3 can go in SOOOOO many ways right now. They can do all of what you guys have said, but they have to incorporate everything that happened at the end of the last movie into it. That storyline, in and of itself, is enough for 2 movies. 3 if you count the whole Madelyn Pryor thing and Cable's birth.

Things I've heard- Brian Singer has a thing for the winged Angel. So I think our bird guy is going to make an appearance. Halle Barry feels her character is kinda "iffy" and isn't really interested in her. (Too bad they signed a contract for 3 movies.) Hugh Jackman said "There are lots of things to explore." in regards to the 3rd movie. (Meaning, they're talking LOTS of $.)

What I'd like to see->
Bobby Drake "Ice up"
Rogue gains her ability of flight, invulnerability and strength.
Gambit shows up
Colossus in combat
Regular Angel shows up. (Arch Angel would take too long to explain and it would bring in Apocalypse. Too powerful & too much to explain.)

1.)Agreed on Iceman...
2.)They'd need to introduce the Miss Marvel storyline where Rogue absorbs her powers permanently...
3.)The Ragin' Cajun is a necessity...
4.)More Colossus PLEASE!!!!
5.)Trying to explain the whole 4 horsemen would be quite difficult.

They also need to get Morph in there!!!
