Warhammer 40k players...how big is too big?

well im done building my Very own Ork Gargant built mostly from old rhino kits, my bits box,balsa wood and lots of glue, standing at nearly 13 inches tall here she is ready to be painted. i have like 6 pics total all copared to teh largest model in teh 40k universe that gw produces(next to monolith) teh land raider, and a single ork mini

Although I have to say I think 13" is a little short for a Gargant ... there was a smaller type walker the orks had in 2nd Ed Epic ...

I believe the titans made for 40k Scale stood each about 24" in height, and even then forgeworld admited that was a little small.

But like I said .. damn fine work. When I was still playing 40k that was the aspect I like the most was the actual modeling of stuff.

i was recently looking at forge world titans and saw that the ones they were selling were only 10 -12 inches, i origanaly built it to be the smaller ork vehicle but i cant remember what its called so its right now titled a gargant...i just started painting most of it red...but lost intrest gah its such a big task...

also i got a 5+4 rhino tech pack in yellow and black ill trade you for some ork stuff, maybe chaos you got any pics?(thats if your interested)

I used to own a Forgeworld great gargent and then thing was about 2 feet tall. Epic cast use to make a ork stomper, that was about 8 inches tall. So your is about the right height, though it needs to be fatter.

Darn good job though. I use to love customizing every one of my ork vehicles and building them from scratch.

Can't wait to see it painted.

thats right its an ork stompa, and cruising the web i realized its to thin, later this year i may create a tru gargant, but checking frogeworld again their titans are 10-1/2 inches wich i this is still to short but i did notice most have (gargants anyways) a "penis" gun lol, and yep i got that as someone just informed me. lol those dirty orks

It is not a penis gun it is a "belly" gun. But it is just extendend range and gatling. Bad thoughts, Bad thoughts hehehe

Yeah, cool looking, but a little small and not fat enough. Gargants are chubby little buggers...
