    Dave's early X-Mag designs

Would it still be possible to get those bodies (located here ) to be milled? I was just curious. Do they still sell non-CNC bodies? And is it possible to mill those designs?

Also, which design do you guys like best.... current X-Mag or the Dave's design on the last page.
    I wish I wasn't broke....

haha personally, i like the second one the best (1st page). i hate to be werid, but it actually flows. its asthetically pleasing because its curved lines that sort of taper out. i know that there are two main things that appeal to the human brain (shape-wise)- one circle within another and curved lines that taper out. circles on a paintball gun isnt really in style, but the curved lines are. the second one should be painted a light metallic blue if ever milled out. yea, the people ur shootin at wont be shootin back because theyll be staring at ur gun... good tactic
Yummy yummy yummy, I've got fun in my tummy.

heh, those are some old designs...I think I drew them last year? yeah, if I could get a hold of a non-cnc xmag and then have a few thousand to blow, I'd get one done for myself. Not sure why they dropped the idea so quicky, they never even told me I guess they just liked the design that is now on the X-mags more and saw it as more feasible. It is true that my design would probably have cost a fortune, but it would have been the ultimate in milling and cosmetics, no holds barred.

        I still like it lol

Why would that cost so much more than the current design(other than actually writing the program, of course)

One of the reasons I can think of is the extensive milling on the feed module...thats one of the issues that came up when I was talking w/ Manike about the design. Compare it to a C&C X-mag and you will see the X-mag has a far less complex milling on the module.

because you would be ordering ONE ONE ONE not TONS. prolly be hand milled, take tons of hours
