The Best Letter of Resignation EVER!

That is so funny, I nearly fell outta my chair. Anyone who thinks it is childish and immature may think so, but don't start a flame battle.

Even if it's not real, it is funny. And I agree, the ketchup reference is downright heinous.

I dont see why its not real. If someone was mad enough they could, and if you have that kind of stand on a dimwit im sure he wouldnt even start to think about turning you over. I have seen people write even worse/funnier thigns personally, its not all that uncommon

That letter reminds me of every manager I've ever worked for. Ignorance is bliss

                        quite amusing.

I can see where it may be real.

I work in an IT environment where my manager seems to be less than stellar in the knowledge field.

tech staff is on ocassions overworked, but nothing seemingly in comparison to what this letter of resignation is stating.

real or not, someone had some extra time on their lunch break to throw this together providing a few moments of amusement for everyone else in the world :)

Funny.....but I feel pretty confident that its not real at all based on these conclusions.

At the top, it says the guy worked for "Zantex Computers" but in his very first paragraph the guy states that he is an "employee of an institution of higher learning". Implying a school....but not being one to jump the gun, I did a little search on Zantex Computers to make sure it wasn't a certification school or something. My google results were 3 pages of the same letter all on jokes pages, and not a single home page for "Zantex Computers" .

Well as much as the author wanted to say what he thought something like that would be unwise. For one thing its better to learn early on that you do not burn bridges when you do not have to. Some day it will come back to haunt you.

I once left working for a guy here that screwed me over somewhat over the years. However I held my tounge. Later on a few years past and I was in another branch here and a major reorganization took place. Guess who ended up my bosses boss? You guessed it. I coulda burned his *** good when I left out from under him. Had pleanty of dirt on him. And he was very concerned I would. But I didn't. Facutly members that were politicaly apposed to him tried desperately to get me too. But I knew they deep down did not have MY best interest at heart. I even told him to his face I wouldn't burn him. When I was back under him years later he left me alone. Even was instrumental in helping me later on. He felt some guilt by that time for what had transpired and by this time was convinced I had no ill will towards him. I think he also respected me for not using personal information to undermine him. He was comfortable he could trust me then. I of course still do not trust him. But realy doesn't matter cause he is no longer over me at this point. He has risen to the level of his incompetence. But he allowed and perhaps even assisted me in gaining the upper level position I now hold. At least he has had no reason to hurt me. And remember you cannot be in every meeting and defend yourself from back stabbers. You just have to give them no reason to be one.

Never burn your bridges. It's not worth it. You write something like the above and then you sit on it few days. And then you trash it. And it will all come back to you some day if your the better man. If they are incompetent the truth will out on its own. You are not going to change that. So why hurt yourself in the process.
