How do i recover deleted files?????

    well i remember back in the day it was as simple as typing in "undelete" in a command prompt, then you would have to replace the first character or 2 of each file name that it recovered. Just replacing the 0 with a 1.

    Deleted files are still on your hard drive, though not in their complete form. it takes several writes on a HD to remove a file.

    Which is why computer foren... yeah like I know how to spell forensics? *thinks of south park movie* But yeah, which is why even though you delete your HD the feds can still find all your little secrets.

      Use GetDataBack for your files system... There is one for NTFS ansd FAT drives...

        the issue that most everyone seems to be forgetting is that most all of these recover apps (especially anything that is shareware/freeware) requires that it be installed and running before you "accidentally" erase/delete your files.

          why not do a sytem backup thingy. It will set your comp how it was on a certain date

              does banning, temporary or otherwise keep you from reading? I thought it was a "ban from posting", and not a ban from entering teh forums?

                        Unless you're ISP connections you, using DHCP, then you'd have a different IP next time you connected.
