Time to make some of you happy

I shall be leaving for proximately a month and a half. I will be leaving friday morning on my way to fly to London, where I will spend three days, then off to St. Petersburg, Russia. There I will further my understanding and knowledge of the Russian language and culture.

Behave while I am gone, for I will hate to have to come back and correct some of you.

      Have a good trip man.

              Very True, Sam...

BUT.... You know our Boy. Somehow he'll find a way to get into the Kremlin and tell Putin how he's doing it all wrong.

Good luck. I have always wanted to go, maybe see if I could dig up anything on ancestors, but most likely not.

Try not to get in trouble, or on the bad side of anyone. We don't wanna hear that you died in a carbomb or something.

You will see what they want to show to the world, not what really is most of the time.

To learn about a culture by being there, you have to LIVE with them for extended periods of time. Snapshots of life taken while on a trip don’t cut the mustard.
I will be living with them for a month and a half. (with a Russian family.) But I now what you are saying, and I don't expect to take anything from this trip other then furthering my knowledge of the language and the culture.

Yes I know a little bit of Russian.

The problem with caviar is it taste like what 3 day old fish smells like.
