Russia was awesome...I went there for a mission trip a few years ago. It is a HUGE eye-opener to what the rest of the world goes through. ie: When I was there I found out that the average job at Mcdonalds payed 10 dollars a MONTH. Granted that is a lot of money over there....rent is usually easily that much. They are hard workers over there.

the important thing in st petersburg is the baltika beer brewery, scope it out and report back. i love this stuff called baltika extra pale beer. 8.0% alcohol in a 22oz bottle. one is great for relaxing. the guy at the package store calls it liquid crack. anyway, i love the stuff and i bet its even better in russia!Comment

get a tour guide from Nevskiy Prospet..and get the tour in russian rather than english...such a beautiful place...I was born there you know...
