Welcome to AO! Texas rocks...I've spent a lot of time there since my sister and her family live in Splendora, just outside of Humble. Mags are sweet, and you'll definitely like it here. Good luck with the new gun.

weren't there issues with rental mags being setup differently so that they couldn't go above a certain fps as well as problems with Lvl 10? I thought I heard about that in the past when lvl 10 first came out.

might want to look into that or if someone knwos let him know

        also welcome to the forums!

The easiest way to solve that is: (and you'll probably do this anyways...) get an X-valve or Retro Valve. That will get rid of any FPS limitations like that as well, the X-valve comes with the level 10.

Here are some pictures of some guys I know at an AO meet and greet in Dallas. I don't know how long ago this was, but ya'll might.

How sure are you about the rental mag not accepting the lvl 10? That would change alot! Thanks for the warning, I had no idea!
            Thanks for the sig sps16!

Thanks, but those require nitro, I use Co2 and have no axcess to nitro. It would be worth it to me just to buy a different mag.
              Thanks for the sig sps16!

Yeah, that was in March. Lots of fun. Tom Kaye was there, and everything! Usually these things happen every few months, so if you miss this one, you'll have another shot.

If you run CO2 on your mag, you'll need a palmer's stabilizer. You can get one that screws into the vertical air adapter and use it as a foregrip, or you can get one that mounts to the side of the valve.

As far as buying another mag, your best bet is to look around here for one in the classified section. There are alot of people selling basic mags right now, so you'll find a good deal.

                    Hello and welcome to AO.

I happen to own an old rental mag and had no problems with installing lvl 10 in it. I went by the standard install recomendations and haven't looked back since, though I did replace the valve spring pack and pressure relief piston. (These can be worn from being a rental, lots of use and abuse).

As for speed, It shoots as fast as I can pull the trigger.

( edit) And yes, I also have a Model 98.

Thanks for all the help! I will need more help when my mag comes in, I've never even shot a mag before, but I'm not the least bit worried as to if I'll like it or not!

                      Thanks again,
