    Yep, they're illegal here. So are switchblades, pushknives, nun-chucku, throwing stars.... but not swords for some reason.

    I still want one though... hmmmmm

            I have to agree with Mr.Grumble. Here in Fl. every thing is available. A lot of people do conversions on the S&W SWAT knives they are real nice. Most cops carry Benchmades. But most cops don't know switch blades are legit here as long as you have a ccw permit. The only thing prohibited is a "ballistic" knife. As far as butterfly knives, make friends with an old filipino guy. They can teach you a lot. Especially some one into filipino martial arts.
