Ya, the courts ruled that they could not give licenses to smoke it without supplying it or something. Right now people either have to grow it themselves, designate someone else to do it, or buy it on the black market. The federal government is appealing the ruling - fighting tooth and nail, hehe.

Marijuana is now De-Crminalized. its almost free here now, and 112 for an ounce sounds pretty right, that must be a good hookup price though, 130.00 sounds better to me.

When I was in Montreal I remember walking around the streets downtown, St Catherine's, and smelling it all over the place. Out side the strip clubs at around 3-4am the guys trying to get people to come inside were smoking away and the cops rarely made a scene about it.

The one cop that I did see stop someone, just his one-hitter and what little was left is his box and told him "dont get cought again smoking in the streets." That was it :) :)

Hook'ed up with a couple Canadian hippies that were attending welding school up there and had a good time I'll tell you that :) ...

Im hoping to head back up to Montreal again sometime for work.

I was sure that it was all of Canada that was De-Criminalized but maybe it is only Ontario. I know it was because the night that it became de-criminalized a man in a local town, very close by, said he would be in the parking lot at so and so place smoking a doobie. he had said for the cops to come get him, over the radio and everything. when the time came, i think it was 8 pm, the cops werent there and came later, and said they were too busy. heh

there were pictures and everything in the newspaper.
