I was Catholic (now Agnostic), and from what I know they probably wont be excommunicated. If you look at history and some other factors, it takes some pretty serious stuff to get excommunicated from the Catholic church. I know some other religions do it quite frequently though.

Yeah, they broke in and hit the silo with hammers. For some reason hearing that brings to mind memories of old Bugs Bunny cartoons where Bugs is tapping on the top of shells on an ammunition production line looking for duds. Then followed by a big explosion. I don't know, it must just be me.

Very scary that after cutting the fence they made it all the way to the silo. Especially if they were dressed as nuns! From a distance they could look like Middle Eastern terrorists, you know with the robes and all! Look at their picture up top. Yhey are even wearing towels on their heads!

would you be happy if another person went to jail for these same acts, if they were not a nun. i see these nuns as nothing more than normal people(this coming from an atheist), and they definately deserve whatever sentence they recieve. however, i dont think you should be happy about it. this punishment is not a good thing, just a necesary thing.

i'm still amazed at how 3 NUNS got TO a actual Nuclear Missle silo!!!!!!!!

That kinda scares me if tehy were able to get there, hit it with hammers and smear blood on it , ALL before they were aprehended.

They were wearing chemical suits, like that's gonna protect them, but whatever. I say put them in the chair! FRY!....actually just joking, but they should've gotten longer than they did. Once they get out they'll be back to their old habits. These ladies sound like real nuts.
