I was in OCNJ for the last two weeks some college kids across the street from my house got into a fight after a long night of partying, it was rather humorous both were drunk and couldn't stand for more than five seconds.Comment

pretty sure you pay more for wellfare and low income rejects then you pay for cops. paying somones salary is one thing, paying someones lifestyle is another.Comment

Okay, let me break this down for you. Social programs and such are paid for by income taxes in NJ. Township expenses and schools are paid for by property taxes in NJ. Thus when kids misbehave and the township is forced to add more summer only rent a cops to supplant the regular police force, it falls on the backs of property owners in town, hence my earlier statement.Originally posted by Heat

In NJ, property taxes are the devil! You would not believe what I am paying per year on both of my homes! Hell the taxes are more then the P&I on the beach house!
