Luckily I never got it, installed the patch anyway. -
that might have been what was in my dad's work email. he said some worm virus sent a notice to upgrade his e-mail (which he had upgraded a few days earlier) an dhad somezip attachment. Luckily my dad got suspicious and deleted it without opening. whew that would have sucked

Well i never got it but my one friend did and it raveged his computer. Needless to say he is without the internet right now. He STRONGLY advised me to update my mcafee and patch up my windows XP....I wonder why?????Comment

I got the worm. I just Plugged my internet in AFTER I started my computer. That works, but I have to re-install windows now

Just found out my uncle got it. Problem is he cant stay connected to the internet long enough to download the patch. Hopefully somehow he can get it fixed.Comment

I'm always flattered when i recieve a virus or some other cheesey malicious code floating arround the net. I'm always so tempted to open/execute/etc. but eh. [grin] I run a tight ship.
I like being able to read a text view of an e-mail before opening it.Comment
