You guys who only have one ethernet card (place where your link cable plugs in) will need to install another one. You can get them for like $15 at best buy.

Eric, there are a few different ways to set this up. Click on the "Help me!" link on the main page and then there should be a link called "network configurations". You should be able to do atleast one of those setups without buying much extra stuff (if any).

The reason it is hard to play with no shields online is because of lag. Even with really fast connections there is always a very small amount which really makes a difference, especially with no shields. The reason for this is because with no shields a headshot is a one shot kill, and it is so much easier for the host to get headshots. If your using the pistol, instead of aiming with the center of the targeting reticule, try putting their head right on the outer edge of the circle (if they are running that is).

I try and find very low lag servers, and I usually do. Like that it can be really fun, just like a Halo LAN.

Just try to find players with a very low ping, and try to play with only 2 xboxs. If there are 3 or 4 xboxs in the game make sure the host has a good connection.
