Wow! That was soooo funny! Sorry kids, I own a Mac and work on both Macs and PC's at work and I gotta tell ya the Mac is considerably better. My PC crashes at least ten times for every one crash I have on the Mac, and OS X is far more innovative than anything Microsoft peddles. Mac continually pushes the envelope on technology and design whereas PC's and Microsoft simply update without changing much.

And when my computer games are released for a Mac I'll consider them.

The problem Apple has always, and will always, have is that they refuse to understand that having the better product isn't the only thing that matters. I honestly believe that a comparable Mac can out perform my PC. Except that it costs 20% more AND doesn't run the software I want. I know, emulator, but if I'm going to run an emulator I might as well just get a PC.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

Well, that's true to a certain extent. It just depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I can go into CompUSA and find a buttload of MAC version games just the same as PC's...however, you have to go to a place like this. Just going to Wal-Mart won't work since they carry nothing Mac. In this sense, it is a pain in the butt...but to me, having a better performing machine is worth the hassle. As for price, I agree Mac's can get a little expensive but so can PC's. I was looking at laptops over at this same CompUSA store and they had a Powerbook, Apple's top of the line, 15" version for $1700. Pricey, but ok...it's got some mean performance to it (a G4 processor, 60 G harddrive and a DVD burner). Then I look over at these Sony Vaio laptops and they're marked at $2500 or more! Hell, there were some [ICompaq books running $1800-1900.

I mean, yeah you can't touch a G4 desktop system in Apple for less than $1200 usually, but an eMac or iMac are pretty decent computers and those can be purchased for less than $900 most places. So the value and performance is there, as well as the games, you just have to look for it. The PC market is much more saturated so the price and availability usually benefits from this. It's all personal preference unless you're a hardcore computer user truly worried about cutting edge performance, but I enjoy my "not like everyone else" status as a Mac user.

                SO TRUE!!!!

I think tho that the video is more talking about OS 9.x and below. OSX is very stable. But OS9 crashes and freezes like a mofo. (i have a G4 at home and my wife uses Macs at her design job)

All the XP/2000 installs ive personally worked with have never had an OS crash that wasnt related to faulty hardware/drivers. (and even those were rare)

I agree Jack, and the fundamental reason for the crashes in OS 9 or below was because that OS, in a sense, is the same one from when they started making Apples. However, they built new updates and patches to it and layered them on top of each other with each new version so to speak. With OS X, they completely went a different way utilizing UNIX as the base language. This in turn created a much more stable enviroment. My original point was that Macs are just as nice as top of the line PC's or even more so, and that thinking "Mac's suck because they crash too often" is an antiquated ideology. But hey, to each his own.

I've owned two macs, a really old one which was a wonderful system for it's time. Then we got an imac with OS9, and from then on I hated mac. Things would constantly crash. It would lock up all the time. Couldn't run any games, and anything that had to do with internet wouldn't work. The only thing I liked with imovie, which I still use for my video editing needs. Windows is more compatible, so I went to them next. While both systems have flaws, I like windows more. The ultimate operating system would be one that instead of telling you, "YOUR COMPUTER IS SCREWED", maybe they could just tell you how to fix it. I wonder if that ever occured to anybody...

Macs were great. Then 1987 happened.

Current Macs are proprietary peices of crap. What good is a system that never locks up if it can't run anything useful?

i love macs. but i use a pc. why? because macs are so freaking expensive. i can build a solid pc for 400-500 dollars, while even bottom end macs are closer to $1000. thats another problem, there just arent enough games available for mac.
