This is the kind of thing I love. All the time we're being told that global warming is killing us and blah blah blah. But now, we're being told that because it's so cold the ozone layer is shrinking and we're all going to die blah blah blah.

Well, which is it? Is it too cold or too hot?

I gave this exact same argument to my mother (who is kinda a modern hippy), about the recent hot weather we've been having, apparently global warming doesn't just make stuff hot stuff hotter, it makes cold stuff colder too, I guess they could have chose a better name.

the way i look at it, and also from what i have read, and researched, we are still coming out of an ice-age. the cycle has not started over. and if you think about it, the polar ice caps have not fully receded. well, it makes sense to me.

That is my arguement for the idiots of the world (cough Greenpeace and ELF cough). We are coming out of an ice age. Hell scientists have proven this whole planet used to be one whole tropical forest, no ice caps to speak of ( well not like they are nowadays anyhow). Still a buddy of mine told me about the apparent supervolcano below yellowstone, sooooooo we are al going to die from nuclear winter anyhow. Well have a nice day.

There is a limit though when evirnmental activism becomes envirnmental terrorism or some otherwise negative enterprise. It's being able to draw that line that has always been Green Peace's weekness
