Ok a bit of a skew to kinda back on topic, though I doubt this thread will last much longer as did the last "politically motivated thread reply" did
The case in question "may" well be just as it seems ...but very coincidental that a case like the one mentioned was braodcast on my own tv network a couple of weeks ago where an Israeli who was married to a Palistinian couldn't actually live together due to "laws" of settlement, or least something very close to that. The person may well be in need of resettlement to another country due to persecution...why Canada, why not the States...immigration to either country is a viable idea...or is it that what happened last year has now made it harder to get in? So perhaps a softer option is being looked at? I would doubt that a move to an area with a high concentration of people of the same ethnic background would be a smart move as the same predjudices will exist and probably in a more heated way. Something doesn't ring true, I can't exactly put my finger on it and I am not posting this with the intention ot trolling or flaming just an observation 'cos if you re-read the post I have just made I am looking from both sides of the dilemma.
