Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

The columbine shooters played friggin' bowling the day they went on a rampage, but I dont blame bowling anymore than the 2nd amendment.

No they didn't actually. They skipped bowling class that morning. Don't believe everything Michael Moore tells you

And violent games probably do contribute to violence amoung young people. The simple truth is some kids aren't mentally developed enough to understand that killing someone in an Online game and killing someone on Route 10 isn't the same thing. Now, I don't think we should get rid of the games by any stretch, but I think it's time for parents to step up and explain the differences to their kids, whether they think they need to or not.

I work in the video game industry, I have been doing this for a long time, I have worked on big profile games and I can tell you this... What kids play or buy is not the responsibility of game publishers, parents must monitor what their kids buy, play, watch and do. All games are rated by the ESRB, all games have a rating acompanied by descriptors of what occurs in the game such as blood and violence. If the game says it's not appropriate for kids under 18 and the parent allows the kid to buy it, how are publishers to be blamed? If a parent goes to a book shop and their kid wants to buy a porn mag, and the parent allows it, is the porn publisher to blame? Watch Cinemax or HBO on a Saturday night, would you allow your child to watch real sex or whatever? I wouldn't, but if I a preant does allow their kid to watch it, should they have the right to file suit against HBO for showing sex on tv? it's all about parenting.

Because the new trend in this country (thank you trial lawyers) is that nobody is responsible anymore except for the industries that keep this country successful. That's just the way the sytem is being set up. People aren't to blame for their smoking habits, it's the manufactuerers. Parents aren't to blame for their kid's behavior, its the movies, games, books, music, comics, weather, and who knows what else.

It is an unfortunate turn of events to be sure.

Yes it is, the new american dream is to get rich by suing a big pocket. I mean come on, one day a parent get's up and goes "damn my kid's a fat ***, I should sue Mcdonald's for making all those tasty burgers"
