it stands for "Kein Meirhite fur der Mitlied"

Which translates to "no pity(mercy) for the majority"

They are pioneers in industrial rock that started in the mid 80s! If you like Rammstien then you would probably like them - as Rammstien sounds just like KMFDM - only KMFDM was doing it in 1994. Thier early stuff is a bit rough - but you cant go wrong with "Angst" or "Nihil" or the "symbols" album. WWWII is thier new one and its a bit soon for me to rank it - but its got some solid songs.

Yes.. I've been waiting for this album since i first head about it May/June. Now that I have it, har har.. Love it. I wouldn't have expected anything less.

The logo that you said you did? that was one of the first things that caught my eye on the track listing. Thought it was totaly cool [grin].

The first track, I put it in my car's CD player.. and thought i must have got a bum copy or something, because it was such a low volume, then BLAM [grin] I didnt have the heart to turn it down, and I must have been at least doing 30+ mph over the speed limit after that.

Wow there are people who enjoy good music. Nihil is probably one of their best cds I've heard. Didn't realize a new one was coming out. Webby have you heard their version of "Mysterious Ways"? That song just rules since the original stunk. JJJ is one of my favorite songs by them.

They did. Then they changed it back. That is if I'm not mistaken.

no offence.. but that's not even german.

IF it was german the translation to "No pity for the majority" would be "Keine mitleid fuer die Mehrheit". Which now that I think about it is PRY what the bands name is... you just had a brain fart?

I spent 14 years in germany... you wouldn't learn german around here anyway...half the ppl here have german last names... but don't speak a lick of it.

Um yeah... I bought this Cd and checked it out on my ride to and from the MXS scenario in tuscon this weekend.

This CD is awesome! In fact I put it on par with NIHIL and ANGST.

The intro for the first song is worth the cost alone...
