Thinking about getting another car..hrmm...need opinion.

I am thinking about getting my g/f a car for her birthday. She lives an hour away and it is kind of annoying driving back and forth to pick her up etc. I just got a job, the pay is pretty good. I am looking for something that will get her safely back and forth. I am kind of biased towards Toyotas and I am looking for something under 100k miles. I am open to opinions. Just something that will get her safely from point a to b.

an older trans am. They barely even work the engine at 65mph. I offered 6500 for a friend of my dads, and his is in MINT cond. All i gotta do is cut the check for him :P

true, I understand that possibility. I would expect and hope this relationship to last. I am thinking less than 5 and somewhere between 2 and 4.

In that case, I know you like Toyotas, but for the price you can get a used 98-ish Civic for about $4g or so

I just helped me sister find a 97 Thunderbird with 45000 miles. It was in mint condition inside and out and just had an aftermarket cd/mp3 player installed w/ remote. Full option package with exception of the sun/moon roof. We payed a whooping 6500$ for it. IT's got the 4.6l dohc v-8
