Those old cherokees seem like they last forever ive seen 225k with no major repairs.
Volvos are very safe cars, but also very expensive. Camaros are also safe too
I hit a poll in a 91 camaro at 90 and walked away.
    Then again maybie not
The driver of another 91 camaro died infront of my old school getting sideswiped by someone going about 30 (he got hit on the passanger side). Then again he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Anyone in my car who doesn't wear his seatbelt now gets a lesson by me slamming on the brakes at about 10mph

My dad has a 97 Nissan Maxima with naely 300k miles... it has one problem... the display for the radio sometimes doesn't come on.

          I'd recomend Nissan.

A fiend of mine has over 350K kilometers(220k miles)on his Civic and it works great. A son of one of my fellow workers just traded in his Honda accord. It had over 700K kilometers (440K miles).

My parents and sister both have Toyotas and love them. They just go and go.

You may also want to consider a VW jetta or golf.

If getting a North American car, you may be able to get a newer model for the same price. Also, the repair parts are more inexpensive than foreign cars even though most foreign cars seem to have a longer life.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Subaru's are great too, legacy's have passenger air bags, they last forever and have that AWD goodness.

Man, if only I had the cash for that beaut. I would definately look into older VW's. Like the 85-92's. You can find them for hella cheap and they'll run forever and are cheap to maintain and you can do most of the work yourself.

So, Banzaimf. What are you lookn' to get now that you're selling your dub? I remember a while back you had an R32 on preorder. Are you still lookn' to get that if they ever make it here.

Awsome, I've been so busy lately I haven't been to the vortex in hella. Man I can't wait to see those things rolln' around. Ever since I saw the one Neuspeed had at Waterwagens I've been in even more love with them.
