Is it me or does every other service person (cashiers mainly) try to rip you off?
For instance, I was down at the NPS store with the drexel paintball team on sat. picking up paint. The guy tries to charge us 5 dollars more than what we normally pay (we're sponsored by national) until my friend says "I thought it was less than that" and the guy conviently checks and lowers it to the normal price.
Then today, at the 7-11 across the street from my dorm, I'm inline with some stuff for my dorm. I have my drexel ID card out because I can use the money on the card to pay for stuff from that 7-11. The guy infront of me has a coffee and plops down a 100 to pay for it. Then the dude behind the register says he can't break it. They talk in indian or some arabic language for a few seconds and the clerk asks for my stuff. He scans it or whatever and I happen to watch the register as it types in 1 large coffee, what the other guy wanted to get. Then I say that the coffee isn't mine, its his and he acts like it was a mistake. Then, when he swipes my drexel card he says it didn't go through.
Bull!
He made me pay in cash because I didn't let him charge his friends coffee with my own damn money.
AND I can remember numorous times when gas attendents from stations I don't normally go to (like near paintball fields) would tell me a higher price than what was on the machine just to pocket a few bills.
If I've caught people those times, imagine how many times I haven't caught them!
ARRG!
Done venting..
Anyone else have this problem?
