Y'all need to just give up, Collegeboy is always right.

I mean, look at it, he has an unbiased centerist view that allows him to see the true evils of the right wing, as well as the infallibility (sp) of the left wing. Only a true centerist can have such a view point.

Besides, he has the vastly superior intellect of a college student, that the rest of us pions could never hope to attain. He is able to look at all the social problems of the world while sitting comfortably in the halls of acadamia - the rest of us out in the world could never hope to have the viewpoint he holds from such a prestigious position.

Ok... I may have gone too far. And actually CB I enjoy your conversations, I enjoy your input (even if it is wrong), I even enjoy the idea of you as a centerist (I mean, who knows you better than you ).

As for Arnold being governor... at this point as long as he is smart enough to surround himself with good advisors (he apppears to have done that) I beleive he can bring progress to Cali.. Of course I don't live there so if he fails and you are all miserable, I hate to be callous, but I don't care that much - ok, I didn't hate typing that as much as I thought I would.

The point is, politicians now, are as much about making informed decisions on choosing advisors, and then carrying out the advice given them, I beleive you may find that Arnold will prove to be very good at this (not to say he will not influence or make decisions).

BTW, what makes Arnold a Republican anyways. I understand that if CB is centerist that Arnold can be a Republican, but he seems to be very very moderate - and perhaps a touch on the left side of center.

well.. maybe that's why he is a "moderate republican".. the only thing moderate about him anyway is his social issues... (abortion, gun control, etc) all his fiscal issues is very conservitive republican like (no new taxes, help california become more business friendly)

HE HAD TO. It is California Law to have a balanced budget or something to that effect. You have a piss poor economy, you have to do something. Riley the Governor of Alabama just tried to raise the taxes 1.2 billion dollars in Alabama. Want to take a guess at what party he is in.
