Pedro is a jerk. It comes natural for him. Who else thought Sammy's cork suspension was racially motivated. Oh yeah there was one other.....Jose Canseco.

Dude even the Red Sox fans on the espn.com message board admitted that what Pedro did was classless.

How are the Sox not full of jerks? Tek blocking the plate without the ball, Pedro throwing at Garcia, throwing down Zim, and pointing to his head and saying thats where he wpuld hit Posada. Manny being to scared to charge Clemens. Derek Lowe making obscene gestures to the As after beating them. Hyung Huyn Kim ficking off Red Sox fans after he was booed. A Red Sox Groundskeeper attakcing Jeff Nelson, and then geating beat. Red Sox benchwarmers writing "Li-LLy on their backs to incite the crowd to make fun of the As relievers last name. The Red Sox organaization is full of jerks man.

Johhny Reb, so again, what do the fans have to do with the teams? I don't care who it is, if someone tries to throw a punch at me, i'm going to drop them, even if they're carrying around an oxygen tank. How do you know pedro aimed at him? The only one who knows is Pedro. I've seen many other times the same thing has happened. He could have done it on purpose, then again maybe he didin't. We'll just never know. Tek crowding the plate? It's part of the game, just like the trap in hockey, or the dead mans walk in paintball. You may hate it, but it isn't the least bit illegal.

Do you actually believe he accidentally threw behind Garcia? If you do, you're dumber than you look.

Did you even read my post? I talked about the unprofessionalism of the Red Sox players not the fans. Also I never said blocking the plate was illegal, I said blocking the plate without the ball is cheap but no where did I say that it was illegal. Listen there is no excuse for what Pedro did, even Red Sox fans on the espn.com message boards admit it was stupid and embarrassing to to the team. Zim had to go to the hospital to make sure he was ok, and gutless Pedro should pray hes ok or his bodyguards wont be able to save him from the Yanks.

Ah the old salary argument, never gets old. You do know that the Yankees make 10 times the money that most other teams have. If the Sox had that money you know they would spend just as much the Yanks or more. And having alot of money doesnt make a team good. Look at the Mets, its all in the ability to evaluate talent not money, the Mets are bad because they cant evaluate an Altoid let alone a players value to a team. Try and come up witha better argument next time plase.

The 2001 salary for the Yankees and Red Sox was almost exactly the same. Both 109 million. What was the excuse then. Why didnt the Red Sox win then??

I AM A YANKEE FAN ALL THE WAY. But Pedro definatly had the right to peg garcia. He obviosly took it into his own hands to fire himself up, to fire up his team, and to offset the yankees. Things got out of hand because the bosox are all a-holes, and many of their fans are obnoxious, but i won't go there.

ALSO when pedro shouted and gestured to his head, I believe he was saying "ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD" i.e He wasnt threatening and he didnt want to start a Jihad.

and mad props to Don Zimmer, that scene made my weekend

Gotta love Red Sox fans. Never bitter, always personable & rational... I would just like to thank the wonderful Mr. Martinez for pitching such a great game & essentially handing the Yankees the series. Have fun in the off season guys

Do you mean to tell me that a youg man in his 20's can't defend himself against a 72 year old man? He could have easily just run away from Zim, which would have been the mature thing to do.

This is coming from a Yankee hater, BTW.

christ you people are f-ing retarded, Honestly tell me you are gonna let some goon no matter his age come up and hit you no, do think he had time to run away, i think not but yeah that would look good, i bet the yankees fans would let him live that down, or could you imagine zim hitting him then the yankees fans saying our 72 yo geezer kicked your pitchers arse har har har, right yeah that a better option, what it boils down to is zim tried to attack him, or as some people would say ASSAULT a misdemeanor, and what he did was defend himself, i didnt see him kicking zim after he fell, he simply got him self out of danger, i seriously dont know how you guys can claim the fans are anymore classless then you yankees fan aholes,i had to throw 3 yankee fans out because they were getting all in other customers faces and trying to start a fight(although i did try out pedros move as one tried to push me(he met the wall though not a nice grass field)) all fans do the same thing at all the games you have your diehards, your retards, your bandwagon fan so opn and so on, i cant wait to see the next game i hope zim knows his role now, and stays on the damn bench

Seems that boston fans don't like to use the "." button.

You dont think he had time to run away!?! He stood there starring and taunting him as he came running towards him.
