Yes I have flown, and they advise you to buckle up, but that doesn't mean you have too. About 3/4's of everyone I saw was unbuckled until they told you to buckle up, and even then it wasn't enforced.

Until you can show an example of an Air Marshal sucessfully stopping a hyjacking on an airline with one aisle against 6 guys in which the airline does not discriminate its passengers, then you have no point. (see how things can get turned around).

Something always makes me wonder. People always complain that colleges are full of liberals. Yet college campuses are full of some of the smartest people on earth. Yet they are liberal, could there be something to that.

Who says they're the smartest people on earth?

Granted, in many of the hard science fields universities emply many brilliant people who make great contributions to society. But outside of the physical sciences what makes these people so smart? What do they contribute?

Truth is most of our really brilliant people end up running million dollar corporations, or designing space shuttles, or any number of things. Not teacing poly sci at a college. If you find a really brilliant non phsycal science person on campus chances are they are retred from their real job and now trying to pass the knowledge as it were.

If I was a liberal, I would gladly admit it, if I was a conservative, I would gladly admit it. I do not hold the beliefs of a liberal, I do not hold the beliefs of a conservative. Hence I am not a liberal, or a conservative. I do not pretend I am something that I am not, hence I will not claim to be a liberal when I am not.

(reasons to explain the rather unlikely splitting of the fuselage it went through for just crashing to the ground). Even if it was the people, they were not an air marshal, they were people of the plane, which I admit is the best alternative, if you could count on them.

Um, that's what I said, they didn't have a marshal. If they had a marshal in addition to their own help the scanrio would likely have been completely different.

How much can you lift? A dead body is very difficult to manage. A 150 to 175 lb body is harder to manage then the weight would suggest. Only in the movies can AHNOLD hold the dead body as a shield while firing back (subway in Total Recall)

Try and move a friend efficiently some time with them playing dead and get back to me. I can bench press over 200 lbs, but throwing around my neighbors 110 lb dog is tough. It is not the ACTUAL weight of it that makes it tough, it is the type and dispersal of it!

Well Air Traffic Control would have had records of any planes or jets near it. Guess what there were none! The jets scrambled to intercept the PA jet were from Just south of DC. These planes were given authorization to go supersonic to reach that jet. They would have intercepted it somewhere near Breezewood/Hagerstown. The jet was brought down long before then.

Anything approaching it would have been marked on radar and records would have existed. With all of the investigations into this if you believe that our government could keep this all a secret, then you give them far too much credit. I guess all of those Air Traffic Controllers that recently disappeared in the Pittsburgh area were witnesses!

Or maybe the stealth fighters in Oklahoma were scrambled. They were only an hour away.

Or maybe the jet began to break up because of the violent manuevers an inexperienced pilot put the jet through while jacked up on adrenalin and trying to monitor the passenger revolt. A passenger jet isn't meant to turn on a dime and can suffer structural failure prior to crashing.
