It's always a pain for me when the clocks change because I always forget and try to file flight plans for the wrong time. At least we finally got a clock showing zulu time in our airport's weather room.
Yep we got that. But since we on DLST it would be 8 am for the time being....

      Or Ubangie time...

I don't like flying over the International Date Line. I hate waking up in yesterday.

I know there are several states that just blow it off. I would rather not change to it myself. Its old and outdated thing to do. Its nearly dark when I get home now. Sucks.

Now if you are standing right slap dab on a state boarder between two states that are in different times zones....what time is it?

What confuses me is the area of North America that is -4.5 hrs different form GMT, too close attention spent looking at the lines of longitude as it doesn't get applied to the rest of North America. Must be a real pain living one side of the time line and working etc in the other zone. At least as an island we can apply the time differences easily...but then as all time is worked out from our time we don't have to bother too much

I guess you would call that a dog bollocks over there mate?

(I have no idea what that means and assume its deragatory but not highly offensive...Eh? )

Close quote but actually what you are thinking of is the expression of something "being the dog's bollocks" but that would mean it is very good. If you were to say that "it was bollocks" then that would be correct usage. Now if you were to say that the people that agree all these rules are "a bunch of wankers" then we would be in total agreement

Edit (don't you just love american forum filters )

hehe.... well I was told that the main difference was the "THE" preceeding which changed it to good from bad. But not schooled the the finer points of its usage in deragotory sense. Its sort of like saying something is "Bad" in a way you mean good instead? All in how you say it more or less? And this case how you use it? .

I coulda also used Hogswallop... or whatever that one is Simon uses.
