One other thing I forgot to add; most infantry carry 13 mags...we have our LBV, and two mag pouches. configurations vary, but, our job is to shoot, so, well, we do. In great quantity.

Bill, I carry two more older type ammo pouches on my belt, to add to those in my LBV. Gives me 19 total. Heavy as hell, but I won't be running out of ammo too soon
Being in a maintenance company, I get to drive into the AO with my 109 van, THEN I have to hump it.....I hate leaving my VCR behind
