Bush's speach at Whitehall Palace, London

For some reason, *cough cough* I didn't see much in the news about this speach or it's content in the news. I did, however, see plenty about the protestors.

Funny, though, how Bush even cracks a joke about it in third paragraph.

Reading the speech off the page, it makes me wish Bush was a better public speaker. Its an excellently written speech, but I'm sure it had a mediocre delivery at best.

    Oh well

I heard a report that the protestor's numbers are amazingly low.

Yet reporting that a couple hundred people don't like Bush still takes up at least half of any report about his trip.

You know, it says a sad thing when people never protested against a scum-bag like Clinton, yet here we have a good leader who's trying to do what's right and what do people do? They villianize him. Try and make him look like he's nothing but a greedy oil-loving politician when he's actually trying to do what's right. Bush still have my vote in November 2004!

Friends in London tell me the numbers are way over 100,000 of protesters.

As to the comment. What is more important, a lack luster speech filled with the same babble , or riots threatening the President, and security of Londoners.

Sorry if you are mad, but a speech is not as important as a protest and possibly riot in the streets that involves over 100,000 people. I am surprised that you can not see that.

Well, Clinton was one of our best presidents......EVER.

He is not a scum bag, he just did something that was wrong. Most Americans did not look down on Clinton because of his actions, because it happens so much in everyday life. Affairs are common these days

I was wrong. I just read that on 11/21 there were 100,000-110,000 protestors.

We only riot for important events, such as football games.

Lets see, he cheated on his wife, and lied about it to the press and to congress. Like it or not, the president's life is in the public spotlight. He represents us. I certainly don't want a cheater and a lier representing me or being my president!

Our best president ever? Bull crap! Our military has had it's support services contracted out to others who have noone from the government or military controlling them, and some even foreign, our military took HUGE unnecessary budget cuts, as did national security (we could've used that around 9/11/01, ya know). Clinton totally screwed us over while making us think we were doing well because we THOUGHT we were rich and all, but the world was just laughing at us. The world loved us b/c we were so easy to control. The world hates us now b/c we've returned to the strong nation we once were, b/c we're under a President who knows what his job is and he's DOING it. BUSH is one of our best presidents ever, NOT clinton. CLinton was one of the sleaziest presidents we've ever had. About as bad as President Grant back soon after the civil war (had about as many scandals as well).
