I was just thinking, it would be nice if we could donate and help support AO, so maybe we could get rid of these huge ugly banner ads () and just because I'm pretty sure AGD is paying for this thing out of their own pocket. I dont see how that is fair.. they are basically giving their money to us... we should be able to donate to the forums, just like on PBN!

Seriously though, how could you guys say NO to getting free money?? I'm sure a reasonable number of AOers would probably donate... although I doubt they'll get rid of the banners (which, by the way, I still don't see ).

THAT'S THE THING!!!!! I have no pop-up blocker (or if I do, it sucks major... uh, never mind)... and I still see banner ads and pop-ups at other sites!!! Pretty weird...

I use Microsoft Internet Explorer, and I don't have any blocking software or anything of the sort (to my knowledge, my dad also uses this comp, so who knows)... AOL is the DEVIL!!

You can donate however much you want to. Just go to http://store.airgun.com. For various sizes of donation you get free gifts. If you donate $20 you get a free classic valve parts kit. For a $145 donation you can get a ULE body and if you make a $1,350 donation AGD will send you an E-Mag as their way of saying thanks.

Very good idea, I'm sure thats way to get rid of these banner ads. Maybe make it were if you donate 5 dollars you get a cool little thing under your name that says supporting member. I think thats a much better way for AGD to pay for this then showing those ads. Someone set this up I would be in.

Why would I pay more and support AGD less?
They dont get 100% profit off their stuff you know..
