    Dow Closes about 10,000 for the week!

    What good news this is. As someone who has no small amount of stake in the health of the stock market I practically danced a jog yesterday when the market closed.

    Instead I went to Houlihan's and saw The Last Samurai, which I liked. But not as much as I like the Dow.
    Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

      no kidding, I dumped my entire 401K into stocks about mid september, the best money market move I've made...!!!!

              hey, its the highest its been in 17 months... what can you complain about?

              and look, the service industry is hiring like crazy right now... which is a telltale sign of unemployment across all industries going DOWN...

                  My college fund is now almost full. At the current, provided tuition doesn't increase by more than 50% in the next 5 years, I will be able to pay for college WITHOUT the help of loans. I might actually leave college debt free. Go me.

                      Not fair
                      They keep raising the tuition price at my school every year. Stupid seniors voting for all there healthcare and such and taking the money away from the schools

                          Above it is above it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 10,006 a bigger number then 10,000?

                              My 401K is doing very well! My company got bought around 2 months ago for 3 times the price I was paying for it in January! Gotta love mergers!!!!!

                                              even more then that companies with good benefits. While I hate my job right now, long term it's going to have me doing well....thank good ness for matching 401k's

                                                      The market being over 10,000 is a HUGE psychological barrier. It's one of the very important Bench Marks in our economy. Being over it, by any number, is important.
