AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
with the troubles I've heard of from the ipod, i wouldnt get one, but that's just me. If your in the market for any music player, mini disks are pretty good, my sister has one and it's amazing.

If you like to make lots of little playlists, go minidisc. They rock. They can be rerecorded as many times as you want, so a $2 disc allows you unlimited playlists. MD is definately my fav.
If you want all you songs in one spot, I'm sure either system is a good choice. I know many people who are happy with the Ipod. It's all bias and whatnot in the end. If you leave it up to a poll, you might not be happy. Doing your own research isn't the lazy way (my fav way) but you can always count on yourself to make the right decision on what you like best :)

Yes seriously what problems?
I have an old style IPOD, and love the crap out of it. It's for windows, and it rocks. Easy navigation, good long battery life, plenty of accersories, and the white screen light is useful. I would definately recommend the IPOD.
If ya have any questions about it, ask away, and I'll do my best to answer them.

I loved my Nomad Jukebox Zen 2.0. Huge value with 20 gb for 300 and sounded great. Easy to use and I saved 200 bucks getting this instead of the ipod. Then a janitor stole it at school......pricks.

You can get a brand new 20GB IPOD, for $399, and that is direct from Apple. How did you save $200 bucks?
The $399 is for the newer version which is completely bad-*** if you read the specs and such on it.

You can make play lists on the iPod. And better yet you can chose to play ALL he items on there by Artist, Music type, title and etc... whenever you want to randomly play. You can random play by any of those criteria. Lots of options. I prefer the Hard Drive type capability of this iPod to much of anything out there. Its more than a MP3 player.
AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!
You can also look at the Archos MP3 players. I have one, and it's nice. Mine is 10 gigs and does recording, it was around $200 last year. And you can Rockbox for it, which is a different, improved OS.
