All I gotta say is that the two times that I had to stay in Newark, the hotel had barb-wire fence around it and two armed scurity guards. I have been all over the world and can say that I have never stayed in a hotel so well protected before:)

Just because you are in a decent section of town doesnt mean a crappy section of town isn't nearby :)

The main problem in Newark is car thefts. Newark is the car theft capitol of the world, or at least the US, so that was probably the reason for the guards.

My one trip up there it was Beautifull! Although they tell me I was in the only spot left like that. But it is supposedly what it used to be like back in the day when it earned it's title "The Garden State". However I encourage all of you to continue to believe it is a wonderfull place. Least you all move down here....
