    No and yes.

    To be true to history, the French did help us win our Independence. The French Fleet prevented Corwalis from escaping in VA. This allowed Washington to engage and defeat him. The French did not do this out of love for America, but rather a hate/disdain for the British.

    So there was help, but it was not generous, but vindictive.

    This being said, I really don't hate the French, rather the Parisians! Hell, most of France hates Paris. The Parisians are the arrogant, nasty, aloof fools that honored Mumia Abu Jamal!

        Many can be painted with that brush. In particualr the same can be said of claims of US intervention in Afganistan, Irak, or even Kuwait.

            Well, it can certainly be said that our intervention in those places was mostly or partially self servng.

            But not incidental.
            Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die.                     It very well could be. Learning how to spell in French isn't real high up on my priorities list. But I'm sure most here could have guessed that.
