I was in four fights in high school. I've never thrown a punch. I've also never gone down. The four people that fought me spent the rest of the year at home. I've never missed a day. Only a moron fights dirty at school. First, you'll get kicked out. Second, if you call the cops or the teachers, everyone will know you are chicken .., like my little friend magman.

I can tell you that if my child was assaulted in school, I would make sure that other child was charged with assault. And I was a COP. It is not about being a wuss or a chicken. It is about the LAW.

And taking a punch to prove what a tough guy you are is absolutely stupid. But you go ahead and teach your children what you want, and you do what you want as well. I just hope some of the kids on this forum have a bit of common sense and know what is foolish bravado and what is sound mature advise.

Now, I don't know if he's just using the term lightly and only means to administer a severe beating, or seriously intends to end this kid's life, HOWEVER, it's better to be safe than DEAD.

The simple fact that this jerk has a screw loose and (as far as we're told) means to commit homicide is reason enough to bring in the authorities. At the least, if the jerk throws a punch, he can be arrested for attempted homicide since he did threaten to kill the kid, and one can be beaten to death. At the worst, the guy will pull a knife or a gun, and then we might be reading about littlekrems in the obituaries.

Those of you encouraging littlekrems to fight this guy, I can't believe how irresponsible you're being. This guy (Littlekrems) is asking for our advice about dealing with some punk who wants to put him in the morgue or at the very least, the hospital. Is is the manly thing to risk your life or your limbs over something that you've no control over? NO, it's not! ESPECIALLY since this whole thing is VERY petty, but the punk doesn't realize that.

I liked the earlier idea of telling an athletic coach or something, preferably the football coach. Those guys will waste NO time in getting to the scene if the kid starts to beat you up, and if the punk resists, he'll probably get a few bruises of his own.

Krems, at the VERY least, tell your parents. This kid has threatened to kill you. If you tell someone who can do something about it, this kid won't be able to get near you to administer retaliatory beatings. At the worst, he'll get sent to juvenile detention and have a restraining order placed on him not allowing him to get anywhere near you.

The worst thing to do is to confront this guy face to face without someone ready in a split second to intervene and stop it immediately. Heck, it's plain BAD if there is a confrontation. It's WAY WORSE if it happens without anyone in authority knowing about it beforehand. There is NO issue of manliness here. At the very least, she thinks you're more of a man than he was, b/c she liked you even while she was dating him. Fighting or not fighting is NOT going to change her opinion of you.

This is where serious martial arts classes come into play. Im not talking about the Billy Bob Karate, I mean real classes. They teach you how to defend yourself, and well. My friend has been taking classes for about 2 years and in that time he got into one fight with a person who sounds just like in your case. He was quite muscular, known as a frequent fighter, and had nothing to lose. It was funny watching them fight because the other guy threw the first punch, he just grabbed his arm and put him on the ground. He then went on proceeding with dislocating his shoulder and had him into a lock till he passed out. Amazing what you can learn in a short time.

Taking the fights out of school is exactly why kids are bringing guns to school. When school fights were someonewhat acceptable method of resovling disputes, guns were never brought to school.

And I hope shartley does call the cops for his kids, and wipes their butts, and cleans their snotty noses. He'll be doing it for the rest of their lives, so he might as well get used to it.

I got this tight idea. If he has a screen name or anything, lets get everyone on AO to talk to him and he will think you roll deep. Then he knows not to mess with you. Haha, actually I had the same experience.
Some guy wanted to fight me because I called him a ***. Well, he followed me and stuff and we got in this pushing thing. Well all his friends are my friends so they all broke it up. Well I have a brother about 7 years older than me. I met a lot of people through him too. Well, I got one of his friends with me when we actually fought, off school ground, and he beat the crap out of him for me. It has been about a year, and I walk by him everyday in class and he won't even look at me. Maybe you can find the same type of person to do it for you.

i didn't realize how lucky everyone else is with their schools, and realize how bad mine is.
i think so far two people have been murderd from school related fights, like, most recent one was kid got stabbed in the heart from a fight that started in parking lot, but moved to some store.

another one, a kid got shot in the parking lot.

then the kid who dies, his buddies want revenge, so more fighting, and yadda.

but dont fight man.

The cops won't always be there. There will be times when everyone will have to take a beating, physical, or otherwise.

You can fight back, you can fight dirty, you can run away and call the cops, or you can take the beating. What you do is a calculated combination of the risks versus the rewards. It has nothing to do with bravado. In a situation where fighting back is not an option, you are left with two choices. If a teenager calls the cops he will be seen as a wimp because he got a black eye over a girl. Its a simple fact. Fair or not. Also, depending on the system, requires faith in the system. What if this kids dad is a judge?

By teaching your children to call the cops, you have made them dependant on your judgement, not thiers. You have ensured they will seem weak and child-like in the eyes of thier peers.

And yes, the lack of fighting in the schools is responsible for gun violence. Notice that the violence has been directed at jocks and popular students. The standard procedure used to be that someone bigger than you would smack you around. You made friends with someone bigger than him. You would fight each other, take some pokes, and everyone eventually grew up and moved on. Everyone was in this cycle. Someone mouthed off, you took it, or when you had enough, you punched him. Now the popular kids are imune, so they still mouth off, and no one fights them. Nobody wants to get expelled. They continue to mouth off unchecked until someone walks into school with a gun and wastes them.

The aggresion will come out when one party has had enough. It used to come out in the form of fights in the yard, now it comes out in gun violence.

WRONG. LOL But you go ahead and think what you want, and teach YOUR children what you want to teach them. I was a cop. I enforced the law. I will pass that down to my children, and if people like YOU think that makes someone weak and child-like then so be it.

If you know how to fight I say fight him. If your going to fight him swing first and make it count. The nose makes for a good first shot. You can bring weapons if you want but you'll prolly get rolled since its a school fight.


If ya dont know how to fight, im assuming you dont, then you got a couple options...

You could still fight him. You could swing first and keep goin till he gets the upper hand (he will prolly be off gaurd) When he gets the upper hand, wrap him up and wrestle him to the ground. Stay close to him so he cant get any good punches in. When I was younger I used to fight with older bigger guys all the time and if you stay in tight they cant really hurt you. Remember: the more you are wrestling on the ground like a couple of girls, the less you will get hurt. Just do that and hope it gets broken up. That way you dont look like you got punked and he wont really win.

Second...if I was in your position and didnt know how to fight, my crew would be there. GET YOUR FRIENDS. When he comes up to you have all your boys with you and dare him to hit you. And IF he does you can gang beat him. Just get him on the ground and start kicking his *** and then run, so you dont get rolled by your school. Get it done in about a minute or 2 though and get the hell out. You'de be surprised how badly you can beat some one in a couple minutes.

^^remember tho this is all comming from someone with brass knuckles in his sig. lol so you could always just tell the admins. Just not the road I would take.

After this is all over, lift some weights and learn to fight. I hang with a couple kids your size who can fight insanley good pound for pound. Ive seen guys a buck fourty knock guys out-cold that were 200+ pounds. Take some fight classes our just go pick up some gloves and box with your friends. Wrestle a lot too so you can learn leverage. Its better goin through life knowing nobody can *@#* with you then being scared.

On a last note, fighting isnt the way to go if its not your personality. Dont try and be someone your not. I enjoy fighting and its pretty necessary where I live. I get in fights every weekend and I can say I have solved a lot of problems and caused a lot of them too. Just know that if you do whip his ***, he will prolly want to fight you again, cuz you hurt his pride.

On another last note. TELL THE WHOLE SCHOOL. Thats the quickest way to get a fight broken up before it starts. Tell everyone. Everyone likes to see a fight and there'll be huge crowds and people will be talking. the admins will find out. They always do
