I don't know if you can actually find a copy of it online, never really looked but at a moby concert I was at moby did a cover of radio heads "creep". Don't get me wrong I love radio head, but moby does it better than them I swear.

to be a cover, dosnt the covering band and the original band have to be known by more than 4 people? is it really a cover when some spare band with a devoted follwing of 6 covers another spare bands, which btw has the same 6 fans, song? death by double spared cover lameness i suppose.

                    my vote for cover

manson covering "sweet dreams are made of these" by the eurythmics. his cover of tainted love aint bad either.

I like Aerosmith's cover of Led Zeppelin's "Train Kept A Rollin'." Metallica's "Turn the Page" is nice as is The Lemonheads' "Mrs. Robinson."

Limp Bizkit's cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" is terrible and is a desecration. He's a whiny little b**** and it is evident in the song.

If you were referring to my pick...

NOFX is THE MOST well-known punk band of today. Just because you don't listen to the music doesn't mean noone else does.

Shai Hulud is a little more obscure, but still VERY well known in HC circles. They also rock infinately more than Manson.

...If not, the idea still applies.

No kidding. NOFX and Bad Religion both are pretty large. Heck, schmucks like Blink 182 were stuck opening for them for two years.

Now that I'm thinking about some punk/ska tunes, Reel Big Fish's cover of Hungry Like the Wolf is pretty good.
