Phil, try to find someone selling an old school rt bracket that were aluminum and annod black. If not just get the SS one powercoated black. For once I actually really like the bracket.

I think we are going to do both actually. Since the holes are already there and appear to survive we can put the bracket back on if we chose too. But in the mean time we can also drill for the direct mount. All we end up with is two holes. And one extra option. So why not? I mean then we can do both and see it finished and decide. And in the mean time while the milling is being done I will just have one of the brackets Powdercoated to see what it ends up looking like and all. Then when everything is done we can mock it all up and chose. Sounds good?

Umm I don't know if anyone is able to do this, but why don't you make a better looking bracket that flows better with the body, frame, and rail? But that bracket needs to go or make a better one. IMO.

Yea. I keep expecting one of our talented milling guys to make a bracket. But seems that more often than not people prefer to just lose the bracket all together and mount it directly on the rail. So I guess it's just easier for that to happen and maybe just not enough demand for the better bracket? Some day that may change I guess. But we have talented people out there that can make a better aftermarket bracket thats for sure.

that bracket ruins the flow of the gun IMO

if the bracket was more flowing and didnt have that "old-skool" spacey look it would be ok.

It looks kinda like you're building the mag version of the A4 (based on looks alone, flowing body, 90* frame, clamping feedneck, etc.)

Somewhat I suppose. Except in a mechanical marker. And lower profiled and lighter at that.

Ok this is moving forward now.

So far:

Ryan at Logic is finishing up the grip frame as we speak.

Rogue is shipping out a Raw Clamping feed neck in the next day or so.

Colin and I are finishing up negotiations to get the body and rail done and he is going to put the Grip on Rail for me while it's there. Ryan offered to do it but this makes more sense because that rail has to go to Nicad for the body mill anyway.

Big hold up to getting Colin what he needs and getting started is when the RTP is going to ship to me along with the Sluggo we need for this. They may already have shipped but I do not know it yet that this is the case. Or they may be another week or so before they ship. Waiting on Jon to answer and tell me whats going on. So I just do not know yet. But then I got to get packed back up and on to Nicad to do his portion. Then that time it takes.

The rest of the stuff is sitting here already. So this is moving forward so far. This is going to get built. Within a month it should be ready. I moving as fast as I can on it now.

More as I know whats going on. Thanks for your help.

I have no idea. Sweet marker though. I never heard the name of the owner.

Remember that is the Nicad made body that goes on a regular mag rail not an RTP/Emag rail. But the grip frame can be used on the RTP or the Mag either one. Thats Coolhands work there that grip frame. He tells me that is a Clear anno on that one. And as you can see that one is a regular mag rail with Dallara body. If you wanted to do the RTP you would need to ask Nicad for the Karta RTPro edition of this with an RTP or Emag rail.

Yup- I realize that! I ordered the first Chord V2 body from Nicad when he made them available to the public, and thats the body that will go on my emag (gonna have to do some modification there). The Dallara will be for the mechanical x-valved mag. I've been speaking with Coolhand about his logic frame too; I just had to get one when I saw it.

I'm just not a big fan of the way the top and the front of the karta flows. Sorry Nicad...

Now I just need Nicad to come out with another style body for my Z-grip!
