And he meant little, as in "4 bangers are little" not, little 4 bangers like a Geo Storm.

I have a "Little" 4 banger by his definition. GTI 1.8T.. mods and all I get 220WHP or so. And I'm 1000 lbs lighter. So much for being "little".


As for the RX8, good point about no cylinders but it's still going to beat the pants off his volvo. So there blows his whole theory out of the water, his volvo gets spanked by vehicles with NO cylinders.

Evo has a 2.0 litre 4 cyl inline engine.

WRX has a 2.0 litre 4 cyl boxer engine.

STi has 2.5 litre 4 cyl boxer engine.

They are all pretty little engines. What they lack in size they make up for in boost.

The EVO has more topend than the STi but the lowend of the STI is phenomnal

The STi has a tiny turbo bigger engine it builds boost alot quicker.

Where the EVO has a bigger turbo smaller engine it takes a bit longer for it to build boost but the topend more than makes up for it.

All in all without replacing turbos and with simple bolt ons the EVO is faster because the 16g Mitsubishi unit is far superior to the IHI VF39 turbo found on the STi.

However if you replace the turbos to maybe somthing like a Garrett GT35 the STi is likely to come out on top becuse of the bigger engine.

Twin GT35 variants have been propelling 3.0L Toyota Supras past the 1000 horsepower mark on stock engine internals for years now. No low end all top end... sounds and feels like a jet engine.

I wish that too.

My friend wanted a 300zx for his first car and now he is complaining because his mom won't spend $10,000 on a car and $400 a month for car insurance. Now he is looking at z28's. He can't figure out this insurance thing. He got mad because his mom said $400 a month is too much. It is really pissing me off because alot of people don't get a car form their parents and their parents paying car insurance. His mom said she would spend $7,000 on a car. That seems rediculous to me for someone who has never owned a car.

I pay for insurance, i pay for gas, i pay for anything I want to add onto the car.

Not to mention the fact that the car was leased and I bought the last few payments to buy out the lease... i didnt get it for free.

I know the value of the dollar, dont tell me I'm spoiled because I'm far from it, trust me.

Fortunate if anything, as I will say I am lucky to live in a nice house, get good clothing, things I like, and have a chance to drive nices cars. But I work for anything extra I want, so if your gonna talk bull* than just dont speak
