    No More IE for me!

Yup, Internet Explorer is no longer on my computer. Too slow for me. For those looking for something roughly 10x better...

Firefox is a free web browser backed by Mozilla, a non-profit dedicated to internet health and privacy.

Pages load a lot faster, and the google search bar without all that other crap is awesome!

      Wow.

      Welcome to two years ago

Just wait until you run into some pages it doesn't render properly... then you'll ponder your decision, although it's still a good browser.

Check out mozillazine.org forums for some tweaks to make it faster yet.

IMO, Firebird beats opera in just about every category. I've used them all at some point or another.

I'm stubborn though, I click the IE button out of habit, dispite my preference for firebird.

Thats why I deleted mine, off the desktop, still have to keep it b/c for some damn reason I cant get the java plug-in thing to work, Ill download and it goes it install it, but something always happens.

Also, if any of y'all know how to fix this damn icon thing, how to change it from that stupid MS-DOS flag, I saw how to do it in the forums, but I cant find a nice .ico file.

Firebird rocks!! I dunno what it was w/ IE, I guess all my pr0n() got spyware all stuck in it, so now its pretty much un-bareable to use. No problems whatsoever w/ Firebird(besides the java thing)

Join the club! I've been a Mozilla (Firebird) user since 1986... er I mean, a long time. Their email client (Thunderbird) is also very good. I use it on Windoze and on Linux.

If you use linux I can guide you through the installation of any plugin.
Currently I have the following pugins installed (on Firebird in Linux):
                      Shockwave
                      Flash
                      Java
Mplayer (plays WMV, WMA, RealMedia, Quicktime, and most other things)
                      .

The thing about opera that has me: It's clicking options.

Double click text, you get a pop up menu with "copy"
It also has nice right click options.

I'll be honest with you - It crashes alot. But I still prefer it over IE and Firebird/Mozilla.

Aha, and windows (gnome, kde, and most other linux desktops) has these things built in called "hot keys". I select the text by pressing ctrl+a, then copy it with ctrl+c, then paste it wherever I want with ctrl+v. Not so hard is it, and much more convenient than a popup menu.

just downloaded thunderbird & firebird... I like'em except one thing: Why is the "reply" field all compact? I want it to spread across the whole screen Is there a way to change this?
