the seriously powerful chess players like bobby fischer (who played over 100 SIMULTANEOUS chess games) are not subject to fatigue, or at least to the little extent you're talking about.
No... when you're playing much weaker opponents it doesn't matter if you're fatigued... or a bit drunk. They can be beaten effortlessly. Imagine a weight lifter arm-wrestling a child.

When you are playing someone as good as you, or better... fatigue becomes a big factor... and possibly the determining factor as far as who will win.

do you think fatigue played a major role for someone like kasparov? (i'm asking you your opinion, i'm not refuting or anything)

Well, Kasparov is just so much better than everybody on Earth (except Kramnik and perhaps Fischer in his prime), that he can pull off wins even on an off day. Even Kasparov is capable of blunders, and I think you can attribute that to fatigue because he's just so good when playing at the top of his game.

Fatigue is a factor even when the top players play against each other, this is just common knowledge... you can probably find stuff on the net that talks about this.

            It's not an opinion.

This is just a quick search. You can find stuff on how to combat fatigue and have more energy to play a stronger game. Some chess schools, particularly Russia and those areas, have the students exercise a lot... cardio stuff and what not.

                WOO HOOOO!!!!!

I played it to a draw!!!!

                Stupid computers!

Got down to me with 5 Pawns, 2 Rooks and my King, and it with 4 Pawns, two Rooks and its King.

I made it's king dance the dance of stalemate. And if my calculations are correct, my one extra pawn means I win by 1 point!

                WOO HOOOOO!!!!!

(note: I did ask for the computers advice on two seperate occasions durring this game)

(Also note: If you follow the computers advice for an entire game, it still wins!?! WTF!?)

Humans can't beat a computer at chess. They only beat and/or exploit the flaws of the human programmers of the computer.

                  Real men play this......

The three dimensional board consists of seven different levels. Three of these have size four by four, and have a fixed position; the four others have size two by two and can be moved by the players. The position of the fixed levels looks like a staircase: each next level starts above the third row of the previous level, while the other sides of all fixed levels are parallel. The movable levels find themselves initially above the outermost corners of the upper and lower level; i.e., one of its corner has a corner of the board below it, while the other three corners have no fixed level board below it.

                  Star Trek chess baby!

I have played on these before, best have some aspirin handy.

It's basically the same 'cept with the ability to move to different levels of the board.

I am good at tic tac toe. I havent lost in awhile and I almost always win when i start in the middle and I tie when i dont. I do have trouble winning on the sides though.

Tic Tac Toe is a child's game... All you need to know is two patterns and you'll either always win or draw.

Go is a really hard game though, I bought a set when I was in taiwan and I tried playing and I lost my patience for it. It was too hard and I have no one to really play.
