I've been debating whether or not to join my university's student-run ambulance corps, and become an ambulance driver.
pro's: they're obvious...especially that i can then use the EMT certification to join any other ambulance corps when i'm not at home
con's: i have to take a 6hour/week prep course this semester (two days a week, 3 hours a day)
i have to take an 8hour/week EMT course next semester (two days a week, 4 hours a day) which costs $200 PLUS textbook
these time commitments would obviously restrict free time and other things i could do, like go to the gym, etc.
your opinions?
