    My car got keyed

Yeah, so my car got keyed tonight, I have a pretty good idea of who did it, but I can't prove it and he denies it. What can I do? Does insurance pay for stuff like this, and if it doesn't, how much would it cost to get it fixed?

if you have full coverage or vandalism on your inshurance plan they will cover it. IF not the first time, the the second time for sure your premiums will go up...they do NOT like to pay out for vandalism, even for a 300$ repaint...

The good news is that your insurance will prob pay for it...

The bad news is you probably have a 500 dollar deductable...

pour a mixture of eggs, baking powder, baking soda, ranch dressing, horseradish, mustard, and a basil leaf that is ground up, on his windshield. pam his handles and poop on his back windshield. spray wd40 on his headlamps and pour a mixture of sugar and salt in his gas can. replace his windshield fluid with whisky.

              dont even ask

Poop. I would beat the crap out of him, but I'm not 100% it was him, and I'm a fairly non-violent individual. How about those scratch removing compounds, do any of them actually work?

A kid slammed into my sisters car hood on skates last summer, that was covered by insurance. Don't know if it's the same though.

If you can write it up to Harassment Vandalism and you know who did it, you might be able to get some cash for a repair from them. That happened when my neighbour's tires were slashed.

funny I was just about to make a similar thread.

My truck has been scratched from offroading by brush/shrubs/bushes and what not. They arent too big of scratches but theres enough little ones that its starting to get bad, plus its a blue truck so they show.

Is there stuff I can get that takes them out? Could I just buff them out? How much does all this cost to get fixed professionally?

My car got keyed after have it only 3 month. I know the kids that were involved in it but don't know excalty who did it. I filed a police report about it. About a month later I had to call the police again (about another matter, not really concerning myself) mentioned this and he was highly interested in it and told me to let him know if I got any info. I haven't and I've moved. I didn't file it on my insurance because my deductable is so high it wouldn't be worth it. Enigma go some colored car wax that came with some kind of a scratch cover up pen and fixed it right up. Part of the scratch is "gone" but part of it is still noticeable in the sun. It still sickens me to look at it and this happened about 9 months ago.

Some kids scratched my brothers brand new car, and he got it paid for from the insurance company. Just wait till those kids get a car and someone keys it, they'll know how it feels....

Why do people do that? It's really stupid. I hope it never happens to me. Man, I would be so pissed if someone keyed my car. I guess I better stick with a crappy car throughout high school that I dont care much about
