Sneaky you proove my point about the mentality (or lack there of) that people have on this subject. This is part of the reason that we do not have public nudity.
I think there for, I am I think. am I?

      Really...

You can't allow one, and not allow the other.

and as far as males go... i simply don't feel comfortable seeing a mans junk hangin out when im watching TV or walking down the street
i think everyone can agree that the woman's body is much prettier than a guys. FEW guys match up to the curvature and appeal of a majority of women's bodies.

but whatever tictac, its the offtopics forum. thread 'hijackings' are quite common. get a grip and let the thread go where it goes. we come here to be unintelligent, so let us have our one forum on the board where stupid stuff flies...

If you want to live in a nude environment, you can live in a nudist colony.

I'm not going to spout the reasons that I believe that we wear clothing, 'cause you'd all tell me to lay off the religion, so I'll say this:

Not everybody is comfortable with nudity. I am fine with it, but I sure as heck don't want to walk around naked. I live in freakin' Vermont. I'm guessing that (as an evolutionist would say) we began to cover ourselves to protect ourselves from the elements.

I still don't know what the point of this thread is... I personally think that a well dressed woman is more attractive than a naked woman. It shows class, culture and leaves an enigmatic quality to that woman. I'm not talking about skanky beach girls who wear basically nothing. I'm talking about the type of woman who dresses formally.

Just more attractive in my opinion.

Think about what you just said Falcon. If you hadn't been raised in this society would you care. No, you probably wouldn't.
you could argue that angle with anything, it's pretty weak.

ok so if nudity is to be aired because it's natural, why don't we air people dying (for real), since it's natural? i'm sure some people would love it! i'm sure lots of people wouldn't, though.

it's more PC to keep nudity out of the picture, allowing those who actually want to see nudity to go out of their way to do it.

eh i don't even feel like debating this so...that's all i'm gonna say. my argument prolly has holes but i'm too tired to care.

America is just insecure and uptight.
And they also confused "Rights" with "Privilages"
And darn right abuse some rights.

Maybe we're all legally bound to wear clothing in public, to cover the truth about our bodies. Much like the government covers everything else up.. why not the general public.

Thank god at that.. something like 70% of america is overweight. (Including myself). I'm suprised we havn't had any impact on the earths rotation

i assume this is in response to janet and the brewhaha that has ensued. i am more discusted that the government sees this to be a bigger issue than the 15 porn emails my MOM gets everyday. if you want to waste some taxpayer money to slow the erosion of morals in the country, lets find a way to keep my moms inbox from being cluttered with "farm sex" and "tranny love" emails. her, and her grandchildern would be most thankful.

i personally think its a sad thing that janet felt she needed to do that to get enough people talking about her. all in the name of album sales i suppose. i really dont have a problem with nuidity on tv as long as you know there is a half way decent chance that its going to happen. like the nypd blue warning. you know there is a chance that nuidity will be seen so if you dont want to risk it, change the channel. the problem with the superbowl was the viewing audience wasnt given any warning. that being said, i really dont think her nasty boobie was significantly more offensive than the lyrics in the songs that were sung or in the content of several of the ads ran during the game. i guess the moral is if you intend to flash your gross boobs capped with grosser nipple clamps give us all a warning first.
