What does our society have against nudity?

I understand your point shartley..
but,
We are not saying we need it.. the point is .. it doesn't really hurt any. It doesn't hurt to have it the way it is now, either. I could care less either way, I just don't understand why people make a big deal of it.

And peopel will always want what they can't have. It's as simple as that. While I don't think it goes as far as your point, but just the okayness of the idea.

allowing everyone to walk around in the nude is similar to allowing exhibitionism. both are very natural (being naked, and having sex), but who wants to be walking around in the mall and see two people going at it on the escalator?

it's just not something the majority of people want to witness, just as communal nudity isn't something the majority of people want to witness.

the "natural" argument cant be applied to many things that nobody wants to talk about, including kiddie porn (i just mean photos of naked kids, without a sexual nature). being naked as a 20 year old is just as natural as being naked as a 15 year old. so why can't that be legal? you people arguing for communal nudity most definitely would be in full support of kiddie porn then, right? and for those who are going to argue that kiddie porn exploits those who don't know any better, let's just assume the minors involved are >=13 and <18.

nudity is nothing new to me. if everyone was free and went nude whenever they wanted to, men would be use to seeing other men and women naked. just like sex, drugs and alcohol. if we could have sex, drugs, and alcohol whenever we wanted to it wouldn't be as big as a deal as it is now.

I really don't like the whole let anything legal, we will get used to it and it won't be a big deal. FINE, ALL DRUGS ARE LEGAL, hell, everything is legal, NO LAWS! But we will all get used to it and get used to drinking, smoking, and public nudity right?
