    That is very true, my dad's WRX had an aftermarket boost controller on it when he bought it and it went very nice. My dad had the subaru dealership take it out, because he is a putz. Now he wishes it was still in the car and also the Subaru dealer didn't give it back to my dad when they took it out. There was a noticable performance drop after he had it taken out. Also I thought I would add, from what I have read putting much more than 300 hp into the 2.0 litre engine can reduce your engines life, so just buy the STI.

        ok...all this ridiculous modding of cars is pretty useless if you don't live near a track, like me. so i'm all jealous and stuff...but in that case, a v6 mustang would do me just fine since i'm not about to go drag race with it...basically, my point/question is...do all of you live by tracks or what? what justifies spending so much $ to soup up a car to insane amounts? i understand some boosting to make driving more fun...but i'm talking $13k worth of boosting, etc.

            You don't need a track to hop up your car. Not everyone that owns a corvette, viper, and ferrari take it to the track. They are just more fun to drive when you have lots of power and your car handles like it is on rails.

                    I hate these threads...

                    Import guys forget domestics can go around curves

                    Domestic guys forget imports can go in a straight line.

                    They BOTH forget that upgrading cars is just as much of a hobby as paintball, and more so... there is NO right answer.

                    (Oh, I'm sorry, they already mentioned that the right answer is the 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible. No other applications will be necessary)
