Does this quote ring a bell?

"i thought you were implying that now every state has to allow gays to marry in their state. i wish freud were still alive to tell all you homophobes why you're the way you are...and if you aren't homophobic, then what's the dilly?"

A line of yours in response to 1stDeadeye (you even quoted him so we'd know that's who you were talking to)

also, how are you going to talk about respect on one side when you cheer on people like facts and rooster?

Facts and Rooster are not the same by any stretch. That's like me assuming because you're liberal you're the same as CollegeBoy. I've already made my case to Rooster in another thread, but Facts is a bright person who really participates with intelligence and thought.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

In the political compass thread you stated anyone who disagreed with gay marraige is a homophobe. I don't cheer on anyone. And I do not believe that Facts or Rooster have ever been banned for cursing and flaming, you can not say the same can you?

i've never been banned for flaming, no. cursing, yes. if people got banned for flaming, rooster and facts would be permabanned

and i said that freud should tell "all you homophobes," never said who i was referring to. in fact, the use of "all you" is generally used as a general thing, not on anyone specific. and if you aren't homophobic, i'm curious what would cause the hatred for gay marriage. that's what i was asking. i may have phrased it differently than you would have liked, but that's not my problem. don't start in on me on flaming, cuz i'll just whip out the NUMEROUS threads where i am arguing points and one of your cohorts starts attacking me.

Is this the return of The Boy?

And as for people being banned, I would NEVER say you didn't know what you're talking about. Compared to me, you're an authority on being banned.

All you was a reference to me and the others who disagreed with you.

I said before I don't give a darn about gay marriage one way or the other. I do object to 4 ultra liberal justices making new law that will be legal in all 50 states. That is what I hate. This type of judicial activism is a bigger threat to America then the all the partiot act provisions the liberals who never read it scream about.

Guess what, we don't sit around PMing each other on how to deal with you. This is funny. I guess we are a large right wing conspiracy bent on getting you permabanned.

i agree with you on this. but if the decision is a big enough deal, it'll get sent to the supreme court eventually. that's the defense for judicial activism, i suppose. that if the decision is unconstitutional, it'll get to the u.s. supreme court eventually and be overturned. if it isn't overturned, then it wasn't unconstitutional to begin with (as far as our government is concerned). the whole judicial branch is based upon small cases like these that emerge as results of laws. so if the gay marriage decision is unconstitutional as you argue, then people will make a big enough fuss about it to take it to the supreme court. if not, then the people don't care enough. it's as simple as that. while i agree that some very radical and probably unconstitutional decisions are made in district courts, the system would eventually decide its fate. if we didn't have radical decisions like this, then laws would never ever be declared constitutional or unconstitutional.

and i wasn't implying that you guys try to conspire against me. i'm saying that you'll turn a blind eye to the acts of eachother, while denouncing the same acts of others that disagree with you. this is why i was super impressed with albino. he's one of the few who isn't biased towards those he agrees with.

Except that the Supreme court only has authority in Federal or Constitutional matters. They can not intervene every time a state Supreme Court goes nutty. Look at NJ, the state Supreme court ordered under the Abbott Decision the state to spend billions on the poorest 32 districts in NJ. These districts are already spending more per pupil then most of the state. Can't be appealed because it is a state matter.

it CAN be appealed because it is a state matter. the supreme court doesn't, however, have to hear the case. they are allowed to pick and choose which cases are heard. plus, it has to go from district courts to state supreme courts to united states supreme court. plus, in the case of the gay marriage rights, as you said it can apply to all states, so it would most definitely get a day in court on the federal level.

"try seeing things outside of your own pov, please?"

My point of view is the only one on this planet of any significance, to me at least. Anyone who doesn't beleive whole-heartedly in their own point of view is too weak minded to have one anyways.

And the joke was in bad taste, which is exactly why is was funny.

And yes, I'm part of the conspiracy to get all liberals perma-banned.

Holy Crap Went skiing for the day and this is what happens.

Some people take their existence on this earth just way to serious.

If you don't like what 1DE said...keep it to yourself!!
Do you think we care how you feel??!! I know I sure don't.

I thought it was funny. Both my grandmother and my wifes grandmother died with Alzheimers. It was hysterical. We took my grandmother out for dinner on mothers day and she had mussels. We told her to open the closed ones by beating them with a spoon.....Thats the stuff that I choose to remember. The funny stuff.
